CLAHE (Contrast Limited Adaptive Histogram Equalization)

CLAHE (Contrast Limited Adaptive Histogram Equalization) is an improved histogram equalization technology. It divides an image into multiple non-overlapping sub-regions, performs histogram equalization on each sub-region separately, and limits the excessive enhancement of contrast. It effectively solves the problem of local overexposure or distortion caused by traditional histogram equalization, and is suitable for detail enhancement of medical images and remote sensing images.
